Shane Davies

Brief Bio:

Shane has been playing music since 1993 when he decided to take up drumming as a hobby. This hobby has since grown to become a large part of who Shane is today. 1993 - Gets first drum kit as a birthday present.

1994
- Puts together first high school band project coined The Keep.

1996
 - Played drums for college band at Eastern Illinois University during freshman year. The band was called Hookah Voodoo and they played jam rock and Grateful Dead covers. 

1997-1998
- Played drums for college band at E.I.U. during sophomore year. The band was a punk rock power trio fronted by Dave Hawk and known as Fury-76.

2002
- Played drums for an original pop/indie-rock band called The Sharks. The Sharks enjoyed some local success in a brief existance that saw some of the band dissolve as members moved on to other projects, some of which are still playing today. See The Musical Outfits. 2003
- Made a switch from drums to bass in a brief stint with the local indie-rock band Spread. Spread played a host of venues in and around Chicago and the band had a deep history that was formed well before Shane's short stay. The band stopped playing shows and the main member Mark Doherty is currently finishing up some unreleased material in the studio.
